Refund Policy

This policy forms part of the Eclipse Finance Terms of Service. It covers paid plans for the Eclipse Finance desktop application, made by Eclipse Publishing & Game Studios LLC ("Eclipse Publishing," "we," "us") and sold through Link.

Paid plans are sold through Link. Sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe company, is the merchant of record for all our orders.

Link takes the payment, sends your receipt, handles billing support and disputes, and can issue refunds, under the Link Terms. Your card statement shows LINK.COM followed by our name. Nothing on this page limits a refund Link gives you.

You can cancel at any time, online, in any of these ways:

• in the App, Settings, under Account and plan;
• in your Link account at link.com, which every receipt links to. If you checked out as a guest, the receipt shows how to set one up;
• by emailing support@eclipsepublishingstudios.com.

Every cancellation is confirmed by email. Cancelling stops future charges. You keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for, and then move to the free plan, if one is offered. Cancelling a plan does not delete your Account or your books.

Except as set out in the next three sections, we do not refund:

• the current billing period after you cancel, or any part of it;
• a renewal you did not cancel before it was charged;
• time you did not use the App, or features you did not use;
• a move to a cheaper plan, which starts at your next renewal instead;
• a plan ended because you broke the Terms, because of fraud, or because a charge was disputed.

Before a yearly plan renews, you are emailed between 15 and 45 days ahead with the date, the price and how to cancel, so there is time to decide.

In some places, the law lets a consumer withdraw from an online purchase within a set time, without giving a reason, and get their money back. Link, as the seller, applies these cooling-off periods. They include:

• European Union, European Economic Area and United Kingdom: 14 days from the day of purchase, and again after a renewal where the law provides it.
• Other places with a statutory cancellation right: the period that local law sets.

How to withdraw. Use the withdrawal function below, ask Link support, or send us a clear statement that you are withdrawing, with the email you bought with, to support@eclipsepublishingstudios.com with the subject line "Withdrawal from purchase." We acknowledge it by email without delay. A refund is paid to the original payment method within 14 days of the withdrawal, and you are not charged a fee for it.

Withdraw from a purchase

• If the law requires it, including a valid withdrawal, or where a paid plan does not work as described and the law where you live entitles you to a refund or price reduction for that.
• If we end your plan without cause, or stop offering it, for a reason other than your breach of the Terms, fraud, a charge dispute or a legal requirement: the unused part of what you prepaid.
• If we take away a significant part of your plan during a period you have paid for, and you cancel because of it: the unused part of what you prepaid.
• If you were charged by mistake, such as twice for the same period, or after a cancellation that was confirmed: the mistaken charge.
• If the product could not be delivered because of a technical problem on our side that we did not fix within a reasonable time.

Link can refund a purchase within 60 days of the transaction in certain cases, including to head off a charge dispute. That decision is Link's. Ask through Link support or your Link account.

Please contact Link or us before disputing a charge with your bank; it is almost always faster. Link handles disputes on our orders. While a dispute is open, we may suspend the paid plan's features. Your books on your computer are not affected.
